Summary

I am a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Criminal Justice teaching on the Professional Policing Degree programme. Previously i have taught Criminology at the University of Gloucestershire.

Prior to academia I was a supervisory Police Detective specialising in sexual offending risk, professsional standards/counter corruption and serious and complex investigations. I was also a national Hostage and Crisis Negotiator and Kidnap Commander, an area i hope to research further in my current role. 

Qualifications

Masters Degree (MSc) in Criminology (University of Gloucestershire, 2021)

Bachelors Degree (BSc Econ (Hons)) in Political Studies (Aberystwyth University, 2004)

Post Graduate Certificate (PG Cert) in Public Protection (University of Gloucestershire, 2019)

Foundation Degree (FdA) in Community Engagement and Governanace (University of Gloucestershire, 2012)
